old student work

Did this a couple of years ago in school. In a small group project of three (we did this in a week) with other classes and working on the side. I modeled the scene, animated the camera movements, added the fog, worked on the lighting and helped import the particles for the flag and rain into the scene. I'm going to go back to rework this some more and maybe drop a portishead head track in here. Also I need to a hold of some good copies of adobe programs. The rendering fr this takes forever so.......yeah this was rendered at the lowest resolution and at the lowest quality possible. Its even crappier on here but yeah ill show you what I mean when I get this reworked and show it at a higher resolution.... ONE Day

small lame update

I know its been a while since my last update. Ive been pretty much done with this guy for a while now........I mean atleast with the modeling, but even then theres little areas im going to go back and refine. I have a few other ideas I want to model, that I would post but Im too lazy to scan. I have A.D.D Im not sure which one to model next, and yet this guy still needs to be textured and even though you can't see it i have a skeleton going on underneath him too. So i'll be doing minor animations of him, I hope. It sucks I have many ideas but not enough technical skills and dicipline to bust them out quick enough. Sorry for not cropping these shots.

Finally starting to model again, and some sketches.

Ive worked on this guy the last two nights. Its been very time consuming and I know I'm very slow but I'm working on getting quicker. By posting this maybe I'll finish this guy sooner, hopefully in a few more days. Also Ive been lucky enough to have enough crashes from working on this guy that I decided to scribble some sketches in between. I don't know why it is, because its not even that big of a file. But anyway the last ugly face is something I found in my closet while I was cleaning. This is from January when I first moved out here, just a quick face after drawing some normal in park caricatures that are too big too post, its just look kind of interesting and thought maybe I would develop this guy more. That's it for now "Cheers". aww man I haven't seen so many people post that stupid word on here ever. I need to stop reading shit and create more. ( sorry I just had to ) By the way the people that write that on there post are always incredibly good. I thought it might make my stuff look better too, or at least make me seem like a poser. Either way cooool.

Sketchbook Pages

Too exhausted to write anything on here. It took me an hour this time to sign in to blogger. I don't remember my password but somehow I was able to get in. Well let me try to explain what this is. Its all stuff from my sketch book, been meaning to update sooner but I always seem to have an excuse .......my scanners not working I can't sign in , this is too big to scan, I was going to borrow a camera but eh( I'm a little bitch and a wine ER sometimes). Well anyway this is some of the sketches Ive been sneaking into my sketchbook. Trying hard to concentrate on one drawing at a time but its seems that I have add that I can't shake off or I just have to get back to work. I guess I feel like I just need to improve faster and the more I do the better Ill get, but then you can argue if you spend lots of hours one drawing and make it look good (render/shading/color) you demonstrate skills of a ninja. But overall excited about getting back on the computer which is really what I need to do and model some ideas that I have. No need to maximize any images there all just seconds of pencil sweeping, nothing ambitious all for practice and development. I'm actually a better critic , even tovu said he will pay for my words. Oh yeah lastly the elephant warrior guy is an updated version of the one I posted a while back. I did this a while back but did this on big paper along with extended turnaround of him 3/4 and back side. There's a couple of guys I have to draw on smaller paper so I can scan. Reason for drawing on the big paper was to have the freedom of adding more detail on the face and kind of feeling unrestrained from boundaries, but it takes longer to draw on too. Also been listening to the new Rx bandits CD "and the battle begun".......without a doubt best album out right now, musically and lyrically . Matt embree has to be one of the best lyricist, if you don't agree listen to the whole goddamn albulm and read the lyrics and if your still not convinced give me a band or and artist that has released something better last year or this year. At this point I don't think there is but it would be awesome of one of guys knew and doesn't matter what style or medium its delivered if its good it will stand strong. ahh excuse the grammar and spelling if you read this...
