Sometimes I use ref and some times I make it up, my last post was done using reference this was was done without ref. I honestly never draw bears so I'm surprised they even look like bears since no ref was used.

This is an idea I’ve had for a while and was playing around with the design but eventually kind of went back to what I originally wanted the design to look like. Started of as a rough idea and then it was traced a modified a few times before I arrive at this. Don't be surprise if I change it again. I tend to do that alot. The color version should be posted on deviant today or sometime this week, I hope.

The kind of drawings that my boss likes trashing

Yeah so he never saw these.......................... I'm disappointed to say these were done before summer (about in May )as warm ups. I was also hoping I would get transferred over to airbrush but it never happened. Most of them were done using Mark simon ref book. and only took between 8-10 min each with no under sketching(straight marker to paper). I try to focus more on funny or unique expressions instead of exaggeration and I still can't believe the previous post are drawings that ive done more recently. Money speaks . I really need to get moved over to airbrush, DAMMIT.

By the way the economy is really bad..... and usually about this time of year I try to find another job even if its a non art job because of the offseason. But it seems that even reg jobs are hard to get right now. So It looks like I will have to focus more on marketing myself as a caricature artist. Something Ive always feared even though caricatures are fun I would like to find some solid and stable one day (Hopefully maybe in the 3d field LOL but even then that still doesn't seem promising either)So if you know anybody or need to hire a caricature artist for your next awesome event let me know at wizzardblitz@netzero.com

Demos that were not destroyed by my boss

Some demos I did over the summer. Three of them I was able to hang up. A few other's that aren't on here didn't make it. Nothing too wild just wanted to keep it funny enough that people would know it was a cartoon but not too goffy otherwise my boss would tear it up. Man I forgot I was doing caricatures.

and I failed!!!!!!!!. I still think I learned some stuff from doing it. The first drawing is a Sean Gardner drawing I just redrew to attempt his color demo he has on his blog at http://sgcaricatures.blogspot.com/ The other two drawings were just made up quickly to practice his coloring method. I'll try it again sometime. Was done a real long time. The demo was posted a few months ago on his blog. Thank you Sean

Decided to post me just practicing some anatomy. And some rough sketches that I will finish and eventually post. Still not sure on the design especially on the one that looks like master splinter. The girl drawing was too big to scan so I left alot out. There some fun caricatures that i did before the start of the summer that i will post once I get a camera.
